Types of Lodge
Lakeside Lodges
Situated overlooking the 21 acre fishing lake to the rear of the property and the golf course to the front, Lakeside Lodges have a unique position at Overstone Park.
The 16′ x 22′6″ Lounge/Dining Room leads to a large terrace deck 16′ x 10′ with lovely views over the lake. The properties are in small clusters and line the lake banks.
To compliment this lovely position, the master bedroom, two further bedrooms and fitted bathroom complete the first floor accommodation. Downstairs a gallery kitchen of 7′8″ x 9′ and a shower room/cloakroom complete the ground floor accommodation.
Most properties have pine clad ceilings which are very heat efficient and a few have walls similarly clad. Most are finished with painted plasterboard walls.
Turret Lodges
Turret lodges are best described as “Windmills without Sails” and are usually situated in the most commanding areas around the award winning 18 hole Golf Course. Unlike any other lodges on the complex they are three storey and therefore have a larger interior space.
The octagonal ground floor living/dining area is 19′ x 19′ and is accessed off a large hallway which leads to the 9′10″ x 9′10″ kitchen.
There is normally an understairs cupboard and at the top of the first floor is the bathroom 5′ x 6′ and master bedroom 19′ x 19′ with en suite shower room. On the top floor are two further bedrooms 19′ x 9′4″ and 19′ x 9′6″ respectively.
Roundel & Crescent Lodges
Roundel or Cresent lodges are built in circles clustered around the Golf and Leisure Clubhouse or adjacent to the 18th fairway. They are two storey and differ in architectural stlye as both have differing roof lines.
The long hallway encompasses a shower room/cloakroom and staircase to the upper floor. The door from the hall leads into your 15′3″ by 18′7″ living/dining area, with exterior patio area. The long gallery style kitchen of 10′10″ x 7′3″ completes the ground floor.
Your outlook is either the 18th fairway, the tennis courts and bowling green or the extensive woodland to the boundary of the private park.
Upstairs the master bedroom of 9′5″ x 15′3″ is complemented by two further bedrooms of 10′10″ x 7′6″ each and a fully fitted bathroom.
